BDO Jordan is hiring a Part-Time Internal Audit Expert – Consulting Services (Part time)

BDO Jordan is seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Internal Audit Expert to provide technical leadership and expert guidance for internal audit and advisory engagements.

The selected expert will review and enhance audit methodologies, ensure alignment with international standards, and support the design and implementation of risk-based internal audit frameworks. The role also includes contributing to proposal development, mentoring audit teams, and representing BDO Jordan in client meetings and professional engagements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in internal audit, risk management, or advisory consulting across multiple sectors and countries, with substantial MENA experience.
• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent) is required.
• Demonstrated experience leading internal audit projects and developing audit methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management frameworks, and governance practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent technical writing, reporting, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (IELTS 6+ preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with internal audit software is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within defined timelines.

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time consulting role. Work may be conducted remotely or on-site depending on project needs, with occasional travel within Jordan or abroad.
