Call for Language Services Professionals

BDO Jordan is expanding its roster of qualified language professionals for potential long-term assignments supporting international development and institutional clients.

We invite experienced professionals to express their interest in the following areas:
Language Pairs
  • Arabic ↔ English
  • Arabic ↔ French
  • French ↔ English
  • Arabic ↔ Spanish
  • Spanish ↔ English
Required Profiles
  • Professional Translators
  • Editors / Proofreaders
  • Legal and Financial Translators
  • Consecutive Interpreters
  • Simultaneous Interpreters
  • Online / Remote Interpreters
  • Multilingual Desktop Publishing (DTP) and Graphic Design Specialists
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Translation, Languages, Communications, Journalism, International Relations, or another relevant field. A Master's degree in Translation or Interpretation is an advantage.
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in translation, editing, proofreading and/or interpretation within their area of expertise.
  • Have experience translating legal, financial, technical, development or institutional documents, where applicable.
  • Be proficient in CAT tools, terminology management and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is required for DTP specialists.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in their working languages.
Professional certifications and previous experience supporting international organizations, development agencies or multilateral institutions will be considered an advantage.
