BDO Iraq is expanding its team and looking to welcome qualified IT professionals to join its Advisory practice.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact IT advisory, governance, cybersecurity, and transformation engagements within the banking and financial services sector, while being part of a global professional services network.

Nationality: Iraqi National
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct IT assessments, IT governance reviews, and cybersecurity reviews for banks and financial institutions
• Support IT PMO engagements, including project oversight, controls assessment, and performance reporting
• Assess compliance with international IT standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare high-quality reports and client deliverables in line with BDO methodologies
• Engage with clients and internal teams to support digital and operational improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in IT audit, IT governance, cybersecurity, or IT project management
• Strong knowledge of COBIT 2019, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and related frameworks
• Familiarity with CBI regulations is highly preferred
• Professional certifications are an advantage: CISA, CISM, COBIT 2019, PMP/PMO, ISO 27001 LI/LA, ISO 22301 LI/LA
• Strong communication, reporting, and client-facing skills
