IT Consultant & Auditor
Level: Experienced
BDO Jordan is seeking an experienced IT Consultant & Auditor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting IT consulting services, technology governance and organization assessment, analyzing and evaluating technology systems and processes, performing IT audits, assessing IT controls, and providing recommendations to improve IT governance, risk management, regulatory, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform IT audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of IT controls and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Perform technology process governance, risk, and compliance assessments and develop corrective action plans.
- Identify and evaluate IT risks and develop recommendations to mitigate them.
- Conduct IT systems and applications testing to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with IT auditing standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT audit methodologies and tools.
- Conduct regulatory and compliance assessments such as cybersecurity, PCI DSS, technology governance, ISO, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM) are highly valued.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT auditing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
