Open Vacancy - Senior Auditor (External)
BDO Iraq is expanding its Audit team and is seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor (External).
This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to participate in external audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of clients, while contributing to the delivery of high-quality assurance services in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning and execution of external audit engagements
- Perform audit procedures in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Review financial statements and supporting documentation
- Identify audit findings and internal control observations
- Prepare audit working papers and professional documentation
- Coordinate with client teams to obtain required financial and operational information
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in external auditing
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is preferred
- Certification from the Arab Institute of Certified Public Accountants or the Higher Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies is an advantage
- Strong understanding of auditing standards and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills
