BDO Conducts a Workshop on Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB)
BDO Jordan, in cooperation with UN Women Jordan, conducted a Workshop on Gender-Responsive Budgeting (GRB) as part of the project currently being implemented by the Company: "Provide Technical Support To Four Ministries On Programme Gender Analysis Tools And Conduct The." The workshop was attended by representatives of Gender specialists in the four ministries of: Ministry of Political & Parliamentary Affairs (MoPPA), Ministry of Labor (MoL), Ministry of Health (MoH), and Ministry of Education (MoE).
The workshop commenced with an introduction to the project by a UN Women representative, followed by a presentation from BDO Jordan. Participants then engaged in an interactive session, completing a questionnaire designed to enhance the current GRB methodology.
This questionnaire aimed to gather valuable insights from the ministries, including their experiences with gender-responsive budgeting, as well as their achievements, aspirations, and the challenges they encountered. The workshop concluded with an open discussion where the ministries' representatives shared their feedback and insights.
