BDO Jordan Delivers Small Business Development & Incubation Program for CARE International in Jordan

Amman, Jordan – October 2025
BDO Jordan (Samman & Co.) has successfully delivered the Small Business Development & Incubation Program for CARE International in Jordan. The project aimed to enhance the capacities of micro and small enterprise (MSE) owners across Jordan by providing practical business knowledge, tailored incubation, and mentorship designed to strengthen their competitiveness, sustainability, and financial readiness.

Implemented across Amman, Zarqa, Mafraq, and Irbid, the program engaged forty entrepreneurs, including home-based business owners, in a comprehensive capacity-building journey that combined advanced training, one-to-one consulting, and financial planning support. Participants worked closely with BDO’s consultants to develop sound business models, improve management and marketing performance, and prepare detailed business plans ready for financing opportunities.

The training covered six core business development modules, each delivered by BDO’s internal team of expert consultants. Dr. Wafa Abu Samra delivered Financial Literacy, Budgeting, and Financial Planning; Rawya Sami facilitated Marketing Strategies, Customer Acquisition, and Market Opportunities for Sustainability; Muyasir Ibrahim led Business Model Development and Planning; and Jwana Shaini delivered Legal Procedures and Formal Business Registration, Inventory, and Human Resource Management. Dr. Rawan Shubati provided an in-depth session on the use of mentorship tools related to developing business plans, conducting risk assessments, calculating project profits and losses, preparing market studies, analyzing competitors, and performing SWOT analyses. The training also included practical examples drawn from the local market and several other applied topics relevant to small-business growth.

In addition to the training, BDO Jordan’s team will conduct more than 200 individual mentorship sessions, offering personalized guidance and practical solutions aligned with each participant’s business goals. Peer learning and networking sessions were also organized to promote collaboration and experience sharing among entrepreneurs from different governorates.

Through this engagement, BDO Jordan demonstrated its strong consulting capabilities in enterprise development and its ongoing commitment to supporting private-sector growth and entrepreneurship across Jordan. The project highlights BDO’s ability to combine technical expertise, deep local market knowledge, and client-focused implementation to deliver measurable results for development partners and the business community alike.
