BDO Jordan Participates in GAIN Project Milestone on Resource Efficiency

BDO Jordan participated in the Resource Efficiency First Training Package Completion Ceremony, a key milestone of the Green Action in Enterprises (GAIN) Project, implemented by GIZ. The event brought together representatives from public institutions, private industry, and international partners to celebrate progress in advancing resource efficiency and sustainability within Jordanian industries.
BDO Jordan was represented at the ceremony by Eng. Azzam Hamaydeh, Advisory Partner, together with Eng. Jalal Nazzal, reaffirming the firm’s active role in advancing sustainable business practices and industry-wide transformation.
As one of the selected consultancy service providers, BDO Jordan joined the Business Development Services (BDS) Capacity Sharing Programme, organized by CEWAS and Chemonics Egypt. The programme was designed to strengthen the technical and business skills of BDS providers, enabling them to deliver advanced resource-efficient solutions that improve industrial competitiveness, profitability, and environmental sustainability.
Opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Simon Floeth (GIZ) and H.E. Dr. Omar Arabiyat (Secretary General, Ministry of Environment), who underscored the strategic importance of sustainability in Jordan’s industrial sector. Contributions from Dr. Rasmi Hamzeh (CEO, JREEEF Fund) and other partners highlighted the value of collaboration, capacity building, and green financing opportunities in accelerating industrial transformation.

Certificates were awarded to BDO Jordan and other participants, marking the successful completion of the training package. The next phase will see BDO Jordan participating in factory tours organized by CEWAS to apply acquired knowledge directly in industrial settings.
