HAMDI MELHEM

Hamdi Melhem is a Partner at BDO Jordan, responsible for both Compliance and Business Services & Outsourcing (BSO). With over 25 years of experience in accounting, regulatory compliance, internal audit, and forensic investigations, he plays a strategic role in driving governance, efficiency, and transparency across outsourced service lines.

In his BSO capacity, Hamdi contributes to the design and oversight of scalable outsourcing solutions covering payroll compliance, internal control frameworks, statutory reporting, and risk mitigation. He works closely with client teams to ensure BSO operations are aligned with both local regulations and international standards, supporting organizations across sectors to achieve operational resilience and financial accuracy.

Alongside his BSO leadership, Hamdi has led numerous institutional assessments, internal audits, and forensic assignments for UN agencies, donor programs, NGOs, and government-funded initiatives, including engagements with USAID and the World Bank. His expertise includes identifying control gaps, enhancing procedural integrity, and advising on fraud risk and remediation.

As BDO Jordan’s designated Global Forensics Champion, Hamdi ensures that ethics, accountability, and compliance are embedded in every engagement, whether through outsourced delivery or investigative mandates.
