JAMAL ALTARAIREH

Dr. Jamal Al-Taraireh is the Partner leading Financial Advisory Services at BDO Jordan. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting and has more than 35 years of professional experience in accounting, financial management, auditing, and advisory services.

He possesses extensive expertise in the implementation and transition to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), as well as in external and internal auditing. His advisory experience covers financial process optimization, business planning, financial feasibility studies, project evaluation, and a broad range of financial consulting engagements.

Throughout his career, Dr. Al-Taraireh has developed strong expertise in leadership, financial management, banking, financial analysis, and risk assessment. He has delivered numerous professional training programs on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), forensic accounting, advanced cost accounting, advanced financial analysis, and professional certification programs, including JCPA, CIA, ACPA, and CMA.

Prior to joining BDO Jordan, Dr. Al-Taraireh served as a Senior Auditor/Expert at the Jordan Audit Bureau, an Inspector at the Central Bank of Jordan, and a Supervisor in the Internal Audit Department at Bank of Jordan, where he led numerous fraud investigations and special audit assignments. He also served as a Lecturer and Head of the Accounting Department at Petra University.
